The Great Looe River Duck Race
The Great Looe River Duck Race last took place on 29th August 2010 at 14:00 when 5,000 plastic ducks were floated down the river from Looe Bridge to the Lower Ferry Steps. The ticket holders for the first 14 ducks to complete the course (as determined by the duck catchers in the river) won cash prizes as shown in the table below. The proceeds are in aid of the good causes that the Looe Lions' support. The prizes and winners are shown in the table below.
